Project Blue Belt® 2013

Microsoft® Project Blue Belt® 2013 introduces participants to Microsoft® Project Server 2013 features that expedite scheduling projects and simplify managing tasks within an enterprise environment.

The goal of this course is to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to select, initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects or programs with Project Server 2013, under the concept of enterprise project management. Participants will become familiar with Project Web App and its collaborative features for managing project documents, risks, issues, reports, tasks assignments, and its interactions.

Learn different aspects of Project Server and their benefits to varying roles in the enterprise, and gain hands-on experience and insights on best practices from SMEs around the world.

Note: This course contains multiple hands-on exercises and laboratories where you will need to bring a laptop with Microsoft® Project Professional 2013, or Project Pro for Office 365 desktop with the latest service packs, an internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox and set up the access to the virtual lab provided by IIL.

PREREQUISITES:
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Excel
  • Fundamental knowledge in project management
  • Familiarity with the key project management concepts and terminology found in the PMBOK® Guide
  • Highly recommended: Attending the Microsoft® Project Orange Belt 2013 course
